To cleave such a big Osage must be very difficult, how many bow-staves can you get from this one big trunk?

Had several long staves. Had a pile of short billets 40 inches long I glue together to make a bow. A good tree this size can yeild 20 staves i would say.

Building a Mullberry billet bow currently. Will cut profile out this week. Mullberry makes a light and very quick bow. Like to get it about 48@28"
