Mindest- und Maximallänge eines Langbogens

Kann mir jemand sagen, ob es von offizieller Seite (DBSV, IFAA, etc.) eine Mindest- und / oder Maximallänge für Longbows gibt? Die Spielchen mit der Schnur und dem kleiner werdenden Winkel kenne ich, mir geht es nur um die Länge. Danke im Voraus!

Hier die Aussagen der Regelwerke zu deiner Frage:

Langbogen beim DFBV

3.1 Longbow (LB) Stil 0
3.1.1 Ein Langbogen ist ein aus einem oder mehreren Teilen bestehender und aus beliebigem Material gefertigter Bogen.

3.1.2 Die Sehne darf im gespannten Zustand nicht auf den Wurfarmen aufliegen.

3.1.3 Das Mittelteil muss frei von als Visierhilfen verwendbarem Markierungen oder Veränderungen sein.

3.1.4 Der Bogen kann ein Fenster und ein Pfeilbett aufweisen. Das Bogenfenster darf nicht parallel zur Bogenlängsachse und nicht über Center geschnitten sein.

3.1.5 Nur ein fester Nockpunkt ist zulässig. Er kann durch 1 oder 2 Klemmringe (o.ä.) begrenzt werden.

3.1.6 Die Pfeile müssen aus Holz gefertigt, sowie mit Naturfedern befiedert sein und ungeachtet der Farbe, die selbe Länge, gleiche Befiederung und gleiche Spitzen aufweisen.

3.1.7 Die Nocken können aus jedem beliebigen Material bestehen und jedes Spitzengewicht ist möglich.

3.1.8 Der Bogen muss mit „mediterranem” Abschuss geschossen werden.

3.1.9 Ein einziger fester Ankerpunkt ist zu verwenden.

3.1.10 Ein Bogenköcher ist nicht zulässig.


Langbogen bei der IFAA

7.  Longbow - (L.B.) 
a.  A one piece straight ended bow of any material, which when strung displays one continued unidirectional curve, which is measured as follows: When the strung bow is placed with the bowstring in a vertical position, the angle as measured between the tangent of  any point on the limb and an imaginary horizontal line must always decrease as this point is moved further away from the bow grip. 

b.  The tip reinforcing may not exceed 20mm in height, measured from the surface of the back of the bow limb and may not exceed 50mm in length, measured from the centre of the string groove towards the bow grip.

c.  The bow may contain a window and an arrow shelf.  The side of the window shall be slanted over the full length of the window and rounded off at the point where the window intersects with the top bow limb. The window cut may not exceed the centre of the bow.

d.  The belly, bow grip, the window and the arrow shelf shall be free of any marks or blemishes that may be used as sighting aids.

e.  Any additions to the bow for the purpose of stabilisation, levelling, draw-weight reduction, sighting and/or draw checking are not permitted

f.  Only one nocking point shall be allowed on the string, which may be marked by either one or two nocking point locators.  If resting nocks are used -such as ball nocks -only one locator may be used. String silencers no closer than 30 cm above or below the nocking point are allowed.

g.  Arrows shall be of wood, fletched with natural feather, and must be of the same length, fletch and pile, without regard for colour. The arrow must be free of any marks or blemishes that can be used as sighting aids.  Nocks may be of any material and any weight of pile may be used.  Ring markings will be no further than 30mm from the front of the fletch towards the arrow point.

h.  The bow must be shot with the "Mediterranean" loose.  In cases of physical deformity or handicap special dispensation shall be made.

i.  Entries that do not comply with the above rules shall be classified in the recurve bowhunter style.

2.4 Ausrüstung Langbogen
Der Langbogen soll der traditionellen Form des Langbogens entsprechen, das heißt, dass bei gespanntem Bogen die Sehne nur die Sehnennocken berühren darf.
Er kann aus Holz oder Holzverbundmaterialien gefertigt werden.
Die Form des Griffes und der Wurfarme unterliegen keinen Einschränkungen.
Das Bogenfenster kann auf Zentrumschuss ausgeschnitten sein.
Wenn der Bogen über ein Bogenfenster verfügt, kann dieses als Pfeilauflage verwendet und mit einem beliebigen weichen Material bedeckt werden, dieses muss vom tiefsten Punkt in einer geraden Linie nach oben auslaufen.
Andere Pfeilauflagen sind unzulässig.
Auszugskontrollen am Bogen oder an den Pfeilen sind nicht zulässig.
Gewichte, Stabilisatoren oder Schwingungsdämpfer am Bogen sind nicht zulässig.
Geräuschdämpfer auf der Sehne sind zulässig, sofern sie nicht im Sichtbereich des Schützen liegen.
Beim Schießen muss die Sehne mit dem mediteranen Griff ausgezogen werden.
Der Ankerpunkt muss beim Schießen immer  gleich sein. Facewalking ist nicht gestattet.
Weder Visier noch Markierung(en), die als Zielhilfe genutzt werden können, sind zulässig.

Der Bogen muss blank sein, d. h. er muss frei sein:
- von Herausstehendem, 
- von Markierungen, 
- Flecken oder 
- von Laminierungen, 
die als Zielhilfe dienen können.
Sind Markierungen etc. erkennbar müssen diese abgeklebt oder entfernt werden.
Ein Bogenköcher ist nicht zulässig.


Langbogen bei der FITA 3D

11.10.3.4 For the Longbow Division the following items are permitted:
11.10.3.4.1 The bow shall correspond to the traditional form of a longbow with no recurve at all, which also means that when strung the string may not touch any other part of the bow but the string nocks. The bow may be made from any material or combination of material.  The shape of the grip is not restricted.
Center shot is allowed.
For women the bow will not be less than 150 cm in length, for men the bow will be not less than 160 cm in length – this length being measured on a strung bow between the string nocks all along the outside of the limbs.
11.10.3.4.2 A bow string of any number of strands. The string strands may be of different colours and of the material chosen for the purpose. The string may have a centre serving to accommodate the drawing fingers, a single nocking point to which may be added serving(s) to fit the arrow nock as necessary, and to locate this point one or two nock locators may be positioned  (when using two nock locators the distance between the two nock locators should be such just to hold the arrownock) and at each end of the bowstring a loop to be placed in the string nocks of the bow when braced.
11.10.3.4.2.1  The serving on the string must not end within the athlete’s vision at full draw. The bowstring must not in any way assist aiming through the use of a peephole, marking, or any other means. No lip or nose mark is permitted. 
11.10.3.4.3 Arrowrest. If the bow has an arrow shelf, that shelf may be used as an arrowrest and it may be covered with any type of soft material. 
No other types of rest will be allowed.
11.10.3.4.4 No drawcheck device may be used.
11.10.3.4.5 No sight or sightmark(s) on the bow that help aiming are allowed. 
11.10.3.4.6 No weights, stabilizers  or torqueflight compensators are allowed. Bowquivers cannot be attached to the bow.
11.10.3.4.7 Only wooden arrowshafts are allowed with the following specifications:
•  The points will be of the field type meant for wooden arrows,
•  Only natural feathers will be used as fletching.
11.10.3.4.7.1  An arrow consists of a shaft with head (point) nock, fletching and, if desired, cresting. The maximum diameter of arrow shafts will not exceed 9.3mm; the points (heads) for these arrows may have a maximum diameter of 9.4mm, All arrows of every athlete must be marked with the athlete's name or initials on the shaft. All arrows used at any end will carry the same pattern and colour(s) of fletching, nocks and cresting, if any.
  Arrows shall be identical in length, weight and colour, except for normal wear.
11.10.3.4.8 Finger protection in the form of finger stalls or tips, gloves, shooting tab or tape (plaster) to draw, hold back and release the string is permitted. 
11.10.3.4.8.1  The following equipment is permitted:
•  On the bow hand an ordinary glove, mitten or similar item may be worn but must not be attached to the grip. The following restrictions apply:
•  The finger protection must not incorporate any device to hold, draw and release the string;
•  An anchor plate or similar device attached to the finger  protection (tab) for the purpose of anchoring is not  permitted;
•  When shooting one finger must touch the nock of the arrow.

11.10.3.5  Scopes, spectacles, field glasses/binoculars
11.10.3.5.1 All divisions
Fieldglasses (binoculars), telescopes and other optical aids may be used for spotting arrows provided they do not represent  any obstacle to other athletes at the shooting peg.
Prescription spectacles, shooting spectacles and sunglasses may be used.
None of these may be fitted with micro-hole in lenses, or similar devices, nor may they be marked in any way that can assist in aiming.
The spectacle glass of the non-sighting eye may be fully covered or taped, or an eye patch may be used.
In 3D Rounds none of the above is permitted to have any kind of range finding.


Soweit ich erkennen kann, also keine Längenbegrenzung. Nur bei der FITA 3D gibt es eine Mindestlänge von 150 cm bei Frauen und 160 cm bei Männern (habe ich fett hervorgehoben in der Regel).
