@Mika, my question regarding the speed does not mean I'm a speed-maniak :-) , nevertheless I like a fast bow :D . The background for my question was to figure out how effective this design is.

The table you referred to, is it possible that this table was created some years ago at a MoJam in USA? I) remember having seen this table some years ago.

Nice, thanks for the link and pictures.
Of course the lighter the bow (limbs) the more efficient it is.

If I could learn something about the koftgari bow's shooting ability, I might be tempted ... it's beautiful.

A different beauty than wooden bows, though.

I've seen some broken wooden bows, even broken glass bows, but never a broken golden bow.
Gold must be the perfect backing.
